Activity Report
With the heavenly blessings of Reverend Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), with the benign
endorsement of our Chancellor Sant Manmohan Singh ji, and under the valuable guidance of Respected
Vice Chancellor Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Dean Academics Sir, Prof. (Dr.)Vijay Dhir
and Dean UIET, Prof. (Dr.) Jagdeep Kaur the department of Computer Science and Engineering,
University Institute of Engineering and Technology under the aegis of IQAC, IIC and UCA arranged
extension activity at Government High School, Manko.
Computer attacks and data breaches are inevitable. Every day a data breach occurs and the victims of
the data breach suffer. Their information is stolen or posted online. During the session, the students
were presented with real-world case studies and examples of recent cyber-attacks to illustrate evolving
nature of threats.
The outcome of the session was the ability of the students to understand evolving nature of threats and
the tactics used by attackers.
